Where to park

Car parking scams
In some cases fraudsters have been replacing QR codes in car parks and using fake websites to pose as online payment providers and have duped some drivers into entering their bank details.
To avoid any scam payment websites, it is important that visitors access online payment providers safely. If you choose to pay by this method in our car parks, make sure you follow one of the routes below:
- Download the PayByPhone app (or alternative parking payment app) directly from the App Store or Google Play Store
- Visit the website directly by entering PayByPhone.co.uk (or alternative parking payment web address) into the search bar
- Dial 0330 400 7275 (for PayByPhone) to use the automated payment phoneline
Remember in our car parks you can also pay using your card directly via the machine. If you do use a QR code, check that it appears on council signage and does not appear to have been doctored.

Motorhome parking

Maugersbury Road car park, (Stow-on-the-Wold, GL54 1HH). The use of coach bays in this car park is permitted for large motorhomes unable to park in standard bays. No overnight camping is permitted.

Blue badge parking

Blue badge holders must pay to park at the Market Square car park in Chipping Campden as this isn't owned by the Council.

Valid blue badge holders may park free of charge in any other Cotswold District Council car park up to the maximum stay of that car park. You must clearly display your blue badge and time clock at all times on the dashboard of the vehicle, and park within the marked bay.

On street parking

Gloucestershire County Council is responsible for on street parking. Badge holders will need to look out for signs indicating where the disabled persons badge can be used. A blue badge does not give the badge holder the right to free parking automatically and some places still charge even if you display a blue badge. You should always read the nearest parking signs.

Pay and display machines

Report a faulty pay and display machine

If you wish to report a faulty pay and display machine call 01285 623000 and give the number of the machine and the location.

Claim a refund

If a double payment has been taken from your card and you would like a refund, email [email protected]. Make sure you include the date of the transaction, the name of the car park, your name and address, a copy of the ticket and the last four digits on your card.
