About the awards

The Unsung Heroes Awards recognise the people in our local community doing amazing things. They are recognised at our full council meetings, and will receive a certificate and badge to honour their achievement.

Consider nominating someone in your community to show thanks and recognise their good work. We know lots of people do brilliant things everyday but don't get the recognition they deserve. By taking 5 minutes, you can show them that they are appreciated by their local community.
