Kemble and Ewen Neighbourhood Plan

Kemble and Ewen Parish Council has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan. The Plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.

Following a statutory consultation, the plan is now subject to an independent examination. The examiner will consider whether the submitted Plan meets the Basic Conditions. These are the legal requirements it must meet to proceed to referendum. The examiner will use the consultation responses to inform his findings.

The examiner will prepare a report containing recommendations to be considered by us. It will be put forward for a referendum if conditions are met but not before 6 May 2021.

If at the referendum more than 50% of people vote to support the plan, we will use it to help decide planning applications in Kemble and Ewen Parish.

Examination process

On 26 August, the independent examiner issued a clarification letter, requesting a response from Cotswold District Council and Kemble and Ewen Parish Council.  The letter and the responses are available to download.

Representations

The following representations have been made on the submitted plan, and will be considered by the examiner.
