Poll cards issued for EU referendum

Over the next few days electors in the Cotswolds should receive their poll cards for the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union which takes place on Thursday 23 June.

Poll cards are being delivered this week to all those who are registered to vote. If you have not received your poll card by Friday 27 May, please contact Cotswold District Council to check you are registered.


There is still a chance to register for those who aren’t currently on the electoral roll and the deadline is Tuesday 7 June. Visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to register or to update your details.

Electors who are already registered and who wish to apply for a postal vote can download a form from www.aboutmyvote.co.uk or contact elections@cotswold.gov.uk or telephone us on 01285 623002.
The last date to submit an application for a postal vote is 5pm on Wednesday 8 June.

The Electoral Commission has issued a guide to voting at the Referendum which has been delivered to all households.  If you have not seen a copy of the guide, it can be downloaded from our website at /about-the-council/elections/current-future-elections/.  Alternatively, if you would like a paper copy, please contact us.
