Club premises certificate - minor variations
This process can only be used where the variations will not adversely impact on the promotion of any of the four licensing objectives (prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance, protection of children from harm).
How to apply
Before applying, read the guidance notes for details of how to apply, the eligibility criteria, fees and the documentation you will need to provide. This information can be found in the minor variation guidance notes
Club premises minor variation
The fee for a minor variation to a club premises certificate is £89.
What happens next
After the 10 working day consultation period has expired, if no representations have been made by a responsible authority or interested party, then the minor variation will be approved.
If we receive representations, we have a further five working days to consider them and decide whether to approve or reject the application.
If the minor variation is approved, we will issue a new certificate to reflect the minor variation. If we reject the application, the fee will be refunded and you will be given the option to apply for a full variation.
Failure to comply with any conditions attached to a premises licence may result in an unlimited fine and/or six months imprisonment.
