Coronavirus - Council facilities and meetings

Elections

The Government has confirmed that elections on 7 May have been postponed due to COVID-19.

Payments

There may be a delay in processing payments by cheque over the next couple of months. Please pay online or by phone if you can.

Car Parks

From Monday 1 June we will start charging for car parking again. Visit the Where to Park webpage or more details on car parks and their charges.

Leisure centres

All leisure centres in the Cotswold District are now closed. Visit the Everyone Active website if you have questions about your membership, and to find out how to exercise online.

Museums

The Corinium museum is now closed until further notice.

Cemeteries

Updated guidance from the government on Cemeteries means they will be open between 4pm and 8pm.

Funerals will be limited to a maximum of 10 immediate family members which may include the following:

  • spouse or partner
  • parents or carers
  • brothers and sisters
  • children and partners

Where there are no immediate family attending then a maximum of four carers and friends may attend.

Reopening of outdoor playgrounds

The Government has now issued guidance on reopening outdoor playgrounds which can be found here:

Please note that indoor play areas must remain closed at this time.
