From 01 December 2008 the Fouling of Land by Dogs Order 2008 came into force.
If Council Officers witness a member of the public allowing their dog to foul and then
that person does not dispose of the faeces appropriately, then a fixed penalty notice
can be served carrying a fine of £75.00.
If you are concerned about an area that is frequently littered with dog faeces, you can report it using this form and we will investigate.
If you have witnessed an incident and are willing to provide a robust statement, we can follow this up and possibly issue a fixed penalty notice.
