Garden waste collection
[image redesign garden waste container]Garden waste is collected weekly, either in green wheeled bins or in brown garden waste sacks.
The garden waste collection service costs:
- £30 per annual garden waste wheeled bin licence
- £30 per supply of 50 brown garden waste sacks
The garden waste wheeled bin licence is valid for the duration of the municipal year (1st April to 31st March). The service costs £30 irrespective of the date that you sign up.
Brown paper garden waste sacks can either be ordered or they can be purchased directly from the Council offices in Cirencester and Moreton-in-Marsh, priced £30 for 50 or £10 for 10.
There is a 50% discount for householders who receive Council Tax or Housing Benefit.
If you have not yet subscribed to the garden waste service and wish to do so, please complete our online subscription form.
If you have subscribed to the garden waste service and have received an invoice, you can pay online.
Your garden waste wheeled bin (bin lid must be fully closed) or brown garden waste sack(s) must be out at the kerbside by 7:00am on your collection day, but no earlier than the previous evening. Please ensure it is visible from the roadside. Make sure the position does not endanger other pavement or highway users. If you are unable to move your garden waste wheelie bin or brown garden waste sack(s) to the front of your property you can arrange an assisted collection.
If your garden waste is not collected please contact us using the details below. Please remember that collections can be made any time up to 5pm on collection day.

- Plastic bags, pots or seed trays
- Ceramics or crockery
- Bricks, stones or soil

- Liquids, oil and fat (including solid fats such as lard)

- Herbicides and pesticides
- Fencing and posts
