Human Resources - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you have any job vacancies?

Please see our jobs page for a list of current vacancies.

Current vacancies are also advertised in Job Centres and the local press, or in the appropriate professional journal.    For example, a Planning Officer vacancy would be advertised in Planning Magazine, while an administrative/clerical vacancy would probably only appear in a local newspaper.

  • Can I send in my CV?
To comply with our Equal Opportunities Policy, we do not accept CVs.   All applications must be on our application form so that everyone supplies the information we need in a standard format.

  • Can I jobshare?
If a post is open to job share this will be stated in the job advertisement and the job description.

  • I am over 65 - can I still apply?
For Health and Safety reasons, some jobs have a minimum age restriction.  This would be made clear in the advertisement and job description.  We do not have an upper age limit for applicants.
