Access Keys
What are access keys?
Access keys allow you to navigate through this site using keyboard shortcuts instead of the mouse. These keyboard shortcuts can be very useful for people with limited physical capabilities or strain injuries that make it difficult for them to use a mouse or similar device.
This website follows the Government access key system and information on how to use each of the keyboard shortcuts can be found below.
To use access keys:
If you use Windows:
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4:
- press the 'alt' key and the relevant shortcut key (e.g. 1 for the home page) at the same time.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later:
- press the 'alt' key and the relevant shortcut key together and then press the 'enter' key.
If you are using Netscape 6:
- click anywhere on the page, then press the 'alt' key and the relevant shortcut key at the same time.
If you use a Macintosh:
- Press the 'Ctrl' key and the relevant access key together.

Access keys 0 to 9 follow the recommended UK Government access keys standard. All other access keys listed are specific to this site.
