Human Resource Strategy
The overall aim of this Human Resource (HR) Strategy is to improve the Council's performance in achieving its strategic objectives through maximising the performance of its staff.
All authorities are going through significant changes including advances in ICT, legislation changes and the Freedom of Information Act as well as others, and the HR Strategy enables us to manage these changes effectively and enable the workforce to remain focused, motivated and armed with the right skills to reach the exacting demands placed on it.
