This page describes how to send us a compliment, comment or complaint about any of the services provided by Cotswold District Council. Please read these guidance notes before proceeding to the online form itself
What to do first
Call our Customer Service team on 01285 623000. A quick phone call can sometimes be all that’s needed. The team have access to a wide variety of council services and information. The team can also put you in touch with someone who can help you.
How we will respond
If the Customer Service team are unable to help you, then use the form below to send us your comment, compliment or complaint.
We will respond to any complaint we receive within 10 working days. If we cannot resolve your complaint within this time we will contact you to tell you. It is always useful to have a telephone number on any correspondence you send to you as we may be able to respond to you quicker if we can call you with a response or call you for clarification.
If you are not happy with the response you receive from us, let us know. Your complaint will be escalated to one of the Council directors who will be in touch with you within 10 working days to advise you of the action to be taken.
Who else can help you?
Your District Councillor may also be able to offer guidance on the correct procedures and indicate which personel you should channel your complaint through. Councillor's contact details are available on this website. Find your councillor using the Related Links at the bottom of this page.
You could also contact an advice agency, such as the Citizens' Advice Bureau. Details can be obtained from the Council offices, libraries or the telephone directory.
