Get fit at a Zumbathon …and raise money for charities!

Release Date: Feb 20, 2013

Paula Watson, a customer advisor at Cotswold Leisure Cirencester was preparing to run in the London Marathon to raise money for the MS Trust, the Stroke Association and Asthma UK but has had to withdraw following medical advice.  Undaunted, she is now organizing a charity Zumbathon at the leisure centre to benefit her chosen charities.

The Zumbathon – 100 minutes worth - will take place on Saturday 9 March at Cotswold Leisure Cirencester and will start at 11 am. The session will cater for all ages and abilities and there is no need to book – just turn up on the day ready for action!

Paula comments:

“I wanted to do something special for charity this year and I was very disappointed when a surgeon advised me to not to take part in the marathon.  However, I am very excited about this Zumbathon idea and I hope the public will get behind me and support these great charities.  I am suggesting a minimum donation of £5 per person and this will all go to the charities because Cirencester Leisure are allowing me to use the venue for free.”

Paula can be contacted on 07790 905166 for details.
