Description:
A sensory treat for all the family to enjoy. Hereford based maker Jon Williams has been inspired by the five senses: touch, taste, sound, smell and sight, to create this striking exhibition. From tiny, handheld items to huge musical pots all the objects can be touched and explored to find out more about the materials used to make them. Delve into sand pits to discover hidden treasures, explore the tactile, textured wall panels, and play the musical pots. All the family will be enticed by the tables full of food-inspired ceramics and can try to guess the smells coming from the scented objects! Visitors can learn more about the maker Jon Williams through the DVD playing in the exhibition. Almost everything Jon makes is produced on his potters wheel and this DVD gives a real insight into how uses this to make his amazing creations.
