Cotswold District Council Seeks Nominations for Fosseridge Ward
The Notice of Election for Fosseridge Ward was published on the Council’s website (www.cotswold.gov.uk) on Tuesday 25 April, and states that nominations must reach the Council by a deadline of noon on Thursday 3 May.
Nomination paper packs are available from Sarah Dalby, CDC’s Electoral Services Manager. To receive a copy, please contact her, either by telephone on 01285 623229 or by e-mail at elections@cotswold.gov.uk. Alternatively, a pack can be obtained by visiting the Council’s Electoral offices at Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1 PX, on Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding bank holidays.)
If this election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 31 May.
Should there be an election, the Council is reminding the public that applications to register for voting and applications for postal votes must reach the
Electoral Registration Officer at Trinity Road by Wednesday, 16 May. Applications to vote by proxy must be received by Wednesday, 23 May.
