Approved Premises

Approval may be required for the manufacture or wholesale of all meat, fish products, egg and dairy products.  Typically those producers who sell products of animal origin to other food businesses rather than direct to the consumer will require approval.  This is to ensure traceability and high standards of hygiene for those businesses that operate higher up in the food chain.  Approved premises must display a Health mark on their products which will be provided by Cotswold District Council. An example is given below:
