People are contacting Cotswold residents alleging that their Council Tax band may be too high. Please be warned that this is a scam.

THE APPLICATION 13/00291/OUT WAS DEFERRED FROM THIS MEETING. 

This application refers to Land to the North of Roman Way and to the East of Bourton Industrial Park, Bourton-On-The-Water, Gloucestershire. Outline application for residential development to provide up to 148 dwellings, including affordable housing, access, landscaping, drainage and other associated works (all matters reserved, except for access).

COUNTY COUNCIL EMERGENCY RELIEF GRANTS FOR FLOODED PROPERTIES

GCC has set aside up to £50,000 for emergency relief grants (£250 per household affected by floods - the application form is available now.  


FLOODING - BE PREPARED!

 If your property has been flooded please contact the Council on 01285 623000 so that the cause can be noted and we can work with other agencies to prevent this re-occurring. We can also arrange to collect your flood-damaged goods by calling 01285 623000. The Police advise that motorists should exercise extra caution when driving. For sandbags please contact suppliers directly.

Please see Important health advice in the event of flooding and guidance on clean up operations. The Enviroment Agency has also issued guidance about flooding and the  rights and responsibilities of riverside ownership.

CDC and the Environment Agency have provided advice about staying safe , mitigating the risk of flooding, and essential contact numbers. Please also consult local radio, www.metoffice.gov.uk or http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/  for the latest weather forecasts and  alerts during adverse weather.

Plastics recycling bagKERBSIDE PLASTIC RECYCLING COLLECTIONS

Kerbside collection of recyclable plastics has now been launched successfully. Collection sacks should have been delivered to residences - please call our Waste Hotline on 01285 623123 if you did not receive one.
