Residents reminded to return their electoral forms

Cotswold District Council is reminding residents to complete and return their household enquiry form immediately.
In this year’s annual canvass 86% of households have responded to the household enquiry form sent out in August, but there are still just over 5,000 forms outstanding.
If you are not on the electoral register, you may not be able to vote in future elections.
A response to the household enquiry form is required by law even if you have recently completed an individual registration. You can also complete the requirements of the form by contacting the Electoral Services Team on 01285 623002 before the deadline.
Anyone who has been newly added to the household enquiry form will have received an individual electoral registration form, which must be returned to ensure their details are included on the register.
The quickest and easiest way to complete the individual registration form is online. You will be asked to provide your national insurance number and date of birth. Alternatively you can complete and return the form in the prepaid envelope provided.
The revised register of electors will be published on 1 December 2016 with monthly updates thereafter.
