Wow! - take advantage of the Welcome Open Weekend

At the end of this month popular tourist attractions across the Cotswolds and West Oxfordshire are offering great value discounted admission fees.
The Welcome Open Weekend (WOW) offers local residents and visitors special ‘2-for-1’ entry deals from Friday 31 March to Sunday 2 April at a range of participating attractions, including:
- Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, Guiting Power, Cheltenham
- Birdland Park & Gardens, Bourton-on-the-Water
- Sudeley Castle & Gardens, Winchcombe near Cheltenham
- Tewkesbury Abbey
- Nature in Art Gallery and Museum, Gloucester
- Blenheim Palace, Woodstock
- Cogges Manor Farm, Witney
- Fairytale Farm, near Chipping Norton
- Rousham, near Bicester
- Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum, Woodstock
Cllr Chris Hancock, the Cotswold District Council Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Partnerships, who is responsible for tourism, believes that the WOW offers will be a great success:
“This is a great opportunity for residents and visitors to get out and about to sample some of the many attractions on their doorstep at knock-down prices. It promises to be a great family weekend with something for everyone.”
To take advantage of these discounts, residents just need to pick up a ‘2-for-1’ voucher sheet, available from any of the Visitor Information Centres or council reception points in either Cotswold or West Oxfordshire Districts from today onwards. The Welcome Open Weekend in the Cotswolds forms part of English Tourism Week which runs from 25 March to 2 April. This is an annual celebration with a series of events showcasing visitor experiences across the country.
