Neighbourhood plans in force or development

Consultation on Fairford Neighbourhood Plan: 1 March to 11 April

Fairford Town Council parish area was designated as a Neighbourhood Area in 20 November 2013. A pre-submission draft plan was consulted on in late 2016.

In February 2017, Fairford submitted their Regulation 16 Draft and accompanying documents. Now we have checked this plan there's a six week consultation. The plan and any comments will then be reviewed by an independent examiner. If it meets the Basic Conditions required by law, there will be a local Referendum and if more than 50% of votes are in favour, the Neighbourhood Plan will become part of the Development Framework which is used to decide planning applications.

Blockley

In January 2017, Blockley Parish Council approached us to have their parish boundaries designated as a neighbourhood area, for the purpose of developing a neighbourhood plan.  Under the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2016, this area was automatically approved, without need for consultation or decision.

South Cerney

In January 2016, South Cerney Parish Council approached us to have their parish boundaries designated as a neighbourhood area, for the purpose of developing a neighbourhood plan. Following the statutory consultation period, we designated this area on 10 March 2016.  Please view the map of the area and the submission below.

Stow-on-the-Wold and the Swells

In July 2012, Stow-on-the-Wold Town Council approached us to have their parish area designated as a Neighbourhood Area, the first formal step in developing a neighbourhood plan. Following the statutory consultation period, we designated this area on 6 September 2012. Please view the map of the area and the original submission below.

Tetbury and Tetbury Upton

In May 2013, Tetbury Town Council, with the support of Tetbury Upton Parish Council approached us to have their parish areas designated as a Neighbourhood Area, the first formal step in developing a neighbourhood plan. Northleach

Somerford Keynes

In May 2014, Somerford Keynes Parish Council approached us to have their parish area designated as a Neighbourhood Area, the first formal step in developing a neighbourhood plan. Following the statutory consultation period, we designated this area on 9 July 2014. The area includes all of Somerford Keynes and Lakes 56 and 63 currently in Poole Keynes, but due to transfer to Somerford Keynes in 2015, following the Community Governance Review.

Kemble and Ewen

In September 2015, Kemble and Ewen Parish Council approached us to have their parish area designated as a Neighbourhood Area, the first formal step in developing a neighbourhood plan.
